All analog signals are converted into neural impulses via transducer neurons (sensory neurons). This is a four signal set in which the pattern produced by the signal set can be changed during a simulation by clicking on the arrow in the pattern box on the right of the signal definition form. The neural parameters then determine the resulting action potential (impulse) signals.
If the impulse frequency is not constant for a constant analog input signal (especially near the beginning) then the leakage along the dendrite is too small. Of course, that may be the response that a system needs.
